Welcome and hello!

A little about me... My journey into alternative methods of health and healing began back in 1993 when I was first introduced to a “laying on of hands” or energy work. Right away I noticed that I seemed to have a natural gift, or ability, towards this energy. Working on my own and with a mentor, I used family and friends as test subjects whenever illness struck, gathering experience along the way. In 2000 I learned of Reiki through The Silva Institute. I met a teacher and gained my Reiki Master Practitioner certification.
I've worked as a veterinary assistant for almost 8 years and have close to a decade under my belt as a pharmacy technician. In 2010 I finally took the leap and went back to school to learn massage. I enrolled into the Institute of Therapeutic Massage and Wellness where I completed a 650 hour course curriculum and 50 clinic hours to become a massage therapist. It didn’t take long for me to fall into a groove and realize, THIS is what I was meant to do with my life.
Many people have asked me where Big Bear Therapeutics came from, it started many years ago as a child my father nicknamed me big bear. So to honor him, as I would not be doing this today without his support early on, I named my business Big Bear Therapeutics.
In addition to massage therapy I am also an avid Young Living essential oil user both personally and in my practice. I highly recommend!
My ultimate goal is to help people rid themselves of any dis-ease, be it emotional, physical or spiritual.
Pain is never permanent.
